Our Story

You'll find us, a proudly independent and contemporary florist, in the heart of the bustling town of Melbourne, Derbyshire.
Our beautiful blue shop has been established since 2017.
We take great pride in beautiful flowers, handcrafted, to perfectly
match the occasion be it a celebration, funeral, wedding or simply for the
home. Each of us are passionate about providing a personal and friendly service.

We are working hard at becoming more sustainable by changing our packaging and recycling our green waste. We also stock locally grown flowers and plants, when available.

Our gift selection is curated by us. We offer a range of sustainable gifts, many are crafted by independent artisans, please feel free to come and browse.

Susan following a long family tradition in horticulture and floristry, created Melbourne Florist in 2017.

She loves sourcing quality flowers, plants and sustainable gifts.

Emily is a qualified florist, bringing her own quirkiness, creativity and social media skills to the team. Full of energy and always comes to work with a smile.

Pippy b

Pippy the yorkie can always be found close by.

Normally found sleeping quietly behind the desk until Royal Mail comes to visit. She can be a little grumpy but give her food and she's your best friend!
